Terms of service

Last updated May 17, 2026

These are the rules that govern your use of TravelCoach. They're written in plain English because legalese is usually a way to hide something. If a section is unclear or feels unfair, write us at [email protected] and we'll explain or change it.

What TravelCoach is

TravelCoach is a reseller of eSIM data plans for international travel. We don't operate our own cellular network. When you buy a plan, we provision an eSIM profile through one of our wholesale partners and deliver it to you as an installable QR code or one-tap link.

Your account

To buy or manage an eSIM you sign in with email, Apple, or Google. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You can have one account. If we detect duplicate accounts created to exploit promotions or refund policies we may consolidate or disable them.

You must be at least 16 years old. By signing in you confirm the information you give us is accurate.

What you pay

Prices on the destination and plan pages are what you pay. There are no taxes added at checkout: where local law requires VAT or sales tax to be collected, it's already included in the displayed price.

Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number — we only see the token Stripe gives us. Currency conversion (if your card is billed in a currency other than the plan currency) happens through your card issuer at their rate, not ours.

What we promise

We promise to deliver a working eSIM profile for the destination and plan you bought, on the device you're installing on, within the validity window stated at purchase. If we can't, you're covered by our refund policy — a full refund within 24 hours of fulfillment if you never got connected.

We don't promise specific data speeds. Wholesale partners operate on partner networks whose performance varies by location, time of day, and carrier load. When a destination has known coverage caveats — slow rural areas, partial 5G, known carrier issues — we surface them on the plan page before you buy.

What you can't do

You can't resell our eSIMs without a written reseller agreement. You can't use our service for fraud, spam, network abuse, or anything that violates the laws of the country whose network the eSIM connects to. You can't try to extract or reverse-engineer our wholesale partners' credentials from the eSIM profile.

If you do, we'll terminate the account and may report the activity to the relevant network operator and law enforcement.

Coverage and content

We don't sell to destinations where the underlying network operator can't handle the regulatory or KYC requirements (currently this excludes India, China, Saudi Arabia, and Vietnam, among others). If a destination disappears from the catalog mid-trip, your existing eSIM stays valid through its validity window.

Plan content (data allowance, validity, country list) reflects what our partners publish. We verify it on every sync but partners can change terms with little notice. If your plan's terms change after purchase we'll honor the original terms for the life of that plan.

Disclaimers and limits

The service is provided “as is.” We don't guarantee uninterrupted connectivity, specific speeds, or coverage in every corner of a country. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid for the plan giving rise to the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

This cap doesn't apply to obligations we can't legally exclude — gross negligence, fraud, or statutory consumer rights in your jurisdiction.

Termination

You can close your account anytime from the Account page. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice when possible. Pending unfulfilled orders are refunded automatically when an account is terminated.

Disputes and law

The governing law and dispute-resolution jurisdiction for these terms will be finalized before public launch. Nothing in these terms will require you to waive a right you have under mandatory consumer-protection law where you live.

Changes

When we change these terms, we update the “Last updated” date at the top and email account holders if the change is material. Continued use after the change means you accept it; if you don't, you can close your account.
