About
We sell eSIMs. We’ll tell you when not to buy one.
TravelCoach is a travel-data reseller. We aggregate wholesale eSIM plans from multiple providers and present them under one calm, honest, recoverable buying experience.
Why this exists
Every eSIM reseller has the same product on paper. We all ride the same handful of wholesale providers. The differences live in how the plan is described, how the install actually works on your phone, and what happens when something fails — and on those three things, the category has earned a reputation for cutting corners.
We started TravelCoach because we’d been burned ourselves: “Unlimited” that quietly throttled at one gigabyte. Apple Universal Link installs that opened in an in-app browser and silently failed. Support tickets that took four days to answer for activation problems we could have refunded in four seconds. None of it is illegal. All of it is fixable.
The plan we recommend is the plan we’d buy ourselves.
What “honest” means in practice
Honest is a brand axiom, not a marketing slogan. It changes the code, the copy, and the policy:
- Coverage caveats on the buy page. If a country has known dead zones, slower rural speeds, or carrier-specific quirks, we surface them on the plan card before the buy button — not in a help article you find by searching after the fact.
- No “unlimited” without the asterisk. If a plan has a fair-use throttle, the plan page says exactly where the throttle kicks in and how slow it gets.
- Network class on every plan. 4G LTE is not marketed as 5G. The underlying carrier is named (NTT Docomo, AT&T, AIS, Turkcell, and so on) so you can match the network to your itinerary.
- One-tap refund for activation failures. If your eSIM doesn’t activate inside 24 hours of fulfillment, the refund is one button on your order page. No support ticket required.
If we wouldn’t put it in a friend’s hands, it doesn’t ship.
What we are not
- We are not a mobile network operator. We do not own spectrum or infrastructure.
- We are not an MVNO. We do not have our own SIM profiles, our own support backbone, or our own SIM-provisioning entitlement on iPhone.
- We are not a global plan vendor with a single SKU. Travel needs are local — Japan, Turkey, the United States, and Thailand each deserve their own plan logic, not a one-size-fits-all wrapper.
- We do not accept crypto, anonymous, or no-KYC sale paths. Those routes are regulator-hostile and off-brand.
Who we partner with
We integrate with the major wholesale eSIM platforms — the same ones the rest of the industry uses. Our value isn’t in having exclusive supply (nobody does). It’s in honest presentation, calm checkout, recoverable failures, and the willingness to write coverage caveats nobody else bothers to.
Where to find us
Support questions: [email protected]. Security disclosures: [email protected]. We aim to respond inside one business day; activation-failure refunds don’t need to wait for an email — they’re one tap from your order page.
